Incoming Transfer Policies
- Please email us at FFLtransfer@BJWFFL.com to let us know we will be receiving a firearm for you, and include your name, contact information, and the sending FFL's (Seller's) name and contact information. (We should receive this information automatically for GunBroker sales if you chose us as the receiving FFL.)
- Incoming transfers directly from US Citizens who are legally permitted to own the firearm must include a copy of their valid State-issued picture identification with current legal address.
- If required, we will email the sending FFL a copy of our license so they can initiate the transfer to us. (Our license is already on file for sales through GunBroker)
- PLEASE FORWARD A TRACKING NUMBER TO US IF YOU RECEIVE ONE
- Once your firearm is received, we will contact you next day to arrange for the transfer. Transfers are done by appointment convenient to you with no wait, and typically can be completed one business day after receipt of the firearm
- To receive a firearm, you must complete a Form 4473 and pass a FBI NICS background check at the time of transfer. We are not responsible for any transfer delays due to NICS Delaying your approval. Should your transfer be Denied by NICS, you are still responsible for the transfer fee and cost to ship the firearm back to the sending FFL. A NICS background check is not required for current Arizona CCW holders. All transferees must have valid State-issued picture identification with your current legal address. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO BE CERTAIN THAT YOU MAY LEGALLY OWN THIS FIREARM PRIOR TO TRANSFER.
- Firearm transfers can only be completed at our 2117 South 48th St., Suite 101, Tempe, AZ location per Federal law, and can only be completed in person by the transferee.
